Ah, that there were a simple answer to that question!

I think this is one of those comments that prompts a separate post, so if you'll forgive me for the delay, I'll answer that on a new post soon.

Thanks.

Dr. Anderson, at what point do you advocate taking your children out of the public school because indoctrination has become so bad ? (my thoughts turn to schools in Mass. where homosexuality issues are taught) When that time comes (which I pray is a long ways away) do the social benefits of private schooling outweigh the money savings of home-schooling?

Grandchildren are certainly a concern for many of us. What we are able to do in that case depends on a number of factors, but mostly on the relationship we have with our grandchildren and with their parents. If those relationships are strong and positive, we can still communicate our interest and concerns. Long distances make that more challenging, but with video chat and the ease of long-distance calls (letters/email are still good and can be reread), we can still have an influence.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Rather than clutter up your space with a long reply, let me just link you to my own thoughts on atheism, and you can read them at your leisure.

"Detox" is a good term for what needs to be done at the end of each school day. It isn't just the atheism, immorality, and misleading civics courses - now even the science classes are corrupted! What next? 2+2=5?

My grandchildren live far away, and are only just beginning to be exposed to public "education". I'm not sure what to do to help.
